The climbers were not injured. Dehydrated, but very happy. We all went to Angel's for lunch, including their wives and the helo crew, and hashed it all out. The leader at age 52 had some significant climbing experience, but the other climber had never done a class 5 climb at all. They simply got off route, way too far left, got to the top of one of the Sevehah cliffs, noticed the summit was WAAAY over there, and gave up on that. They got stuck descending, got rained and snowed on, nicked their one rope so they could not trust it for a full length rappel, and spent about 24 hours tied in at the Sevehah Cliffs mountain inn.
